SOUND DOORS

Soundmaster Sound Control Doors are available in single leaf or double leaf (paired) configurations. They are available in 42”, 48” or 72” wide by 84” high sizes. (Custom sizes available on request). The Soundmaster Sound Control Doors are available in STC 48 or STC 54 acoustical ratings.

Installation: The door/frame assembly is designed to be installed into existing framed openings. We provide details on how to frame the opening.

Construction:
Each door assembly includes the door leaf, door frame, factory installed cam-lift hinges (US26D finish), double set of magnetic seals (factory installed) and neoprene, teflon coated, adjustable bottom seal (mortised into door bottom). Frames and door leaf are constructed of a minimum of 14 gauge steel.

Hardware:
The door includes push-pull hardware. Mortised lock-sets and panic exit devices available upon request.

Door Swing: In-swing or Out-swing, Right Hand or Left Hand swing.

Door Window: Can be supplied upon request. Typical sizes are 12” x 12” or 24” x 36”.

Wall Construction: Can be used with drywall, concrete block, etc.

Wall Thickness: Can be used with any wall thickness.

*Soundmaster components can be used with any type of construction…new construction or they can be used with an existing test cell to improve the noise reduction capability of the cell.
