SOUND WINDOWS

Soundmaster Sound Control Windows are available in 48” wide or 96” wide x 48” high modules. (actual viewing size is about 5” smaller than the module). Windows come pre-glazed and just slide into place. Windows include two layers ¼” tempered safety glass (or bullet resistant glazing if desired), steel frames and absorptive liner between glazing layers. Desiccant material is included between glazing layers.

Installation: Soundmaster Sound Control Windows are designed to be installed loosely into existing framed opening. We provide details on how to frame the opening.

Construction:
There are two types of windows available for your consideration.

• One utilizes a frame that is similar to a standard architectural “hollow metal frame”. Please refer to sketch SK-1.

• The other window frame utilizes a 12 gauge “U” shaped frame. Please refer to sketch SK-2.

Glazing Options: ¼” lsg x ¼” or ¼” lsg x 1-3/16” BRG (Bullet Resistant Glass)

*Soundmaster components can be used with any type of construction…new construction or they can be used with an existing test cell to improve the noise reduction capability of the cell.
